Meist im jährlichen Abstand überwacht die Zertifizierungsgesellschaft das QM-System der Organisation. Diese Audits sind nicht so umfangreich wie das Zertifizierungsaudit, weil hier nur stichprobenartig die Führungs- und Systemelemente überprüft werden.
