Produkthaftung ist allgemein die Verpflichtung zum Ersatz eines durch ein fehlerhaftes Produkt entstandenen Schadens an sonstigen Rechtsgütern Dritter. Sie ist in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland seit dem 1.1.1990 im Produkthaftungsgesetz geregelt.
